The clues were there from the start: Davros' first appearance in Dr Who was GENESIS of the Daleks...
Another little known fact is that it was Davros, rather than Jean Paul Gaultier, who shaped Madonna's image in the late 80s/early 90s. She pinched the headset mic and the PVC; even the 'Dalek bumps' inspired her infamous conical bra. Strange but true. Honest.
